My students are from diverse cultural backgrounds such as Australian, Canadian, Chilean, Italian, Filipino Chinese and many others. My lessons focus on communication and I always try to make my students feel comfortable and enjoyable because I know firsthand how difficult it is to learn a new language. From my experience, the most important thing is to have fun and continue!

I really great lesson, I showed Yukari some vocabulary I was studying this week on my own. She gave me 3 more vocabulary with very nuanced usage. This week I will focus on practicing what I already know. 教えてくれたありがとう！

Yukari chan is simply the best! I often find that 'speaking' is the hardest part about learning Japanese, but Yukari chan is always encouraging and pushes me out of my comfort zone. Although I still have a long way to go, Yukari chan helps me feel confident that I will one day achieve my goal to learn to communicate in Japanese.

This was an amazing lesson! I was really struggling to understand some grammar points, but Yukari was super patient and explained things in many different ways so it finally made sense to me. She always makes things relevant to my life which just makes it so much fun. I'm very grateful for such a positive kind teacher! Thank you Yukari-san!

Great lesson! Yukari keeps the conversation flowing and takes notes of your mistakes which she later shares in a Google doc. This is extremely helpful!
Also, she's super easy to talk to, fun, friendly - really great experience. Highly recommended!
