Mukadas Tashieva is an English Language teacher at Osh State University;Master of Phycological science; she completed an E-teacher course “Teaching English to Young Learners” (TEYL) course, Oregon University (2013) and became a SUSI program alumna in 2016. She was also the English Access Microscholarship Program teacher-coordinator for children with disabilities (2014-2018), and Aktif Ilim NCO founder. She was a winner of the Small Alumni Grant for a conference on the topic “Teaching Young Learners and children with disabilities,” (2016) and was a students project assistant for secondary schools in Osh (2019). She is currently the Access Program provider in the Southern part of Kyrgyzstan

Mukadas is an excellent teacher! I have a little bit of experience with Kyrgyz but never studied it in a formal classroom setting. She is patient, was quick to assess what skill level I was at, and provided excellent resources to help me increase my language skills. I highly recommend her to teach you Kyrgyz!

Жакшы болуп барган. Really good first lesson. I was nervous at first. It was my first time really speaking this language from a native. She made me feel really comfortable. I’m so glad that my first Time speaking Kyrgyz was a success. I think knowing Turkish and Uzbek helps me learn faster. She talks at a good speed too. She’s easy to understand , and usually if there’s a word I don’t understand I can identify it and ask her the meaning. :)

What an excellent Kyrgyz lesson with Mukadas! During my first lesson with her, I felt so lucky to be able to study with her. It was such a joy to learn this language thanks to her. Even after a single lesson, I feel I learned a lot. Mukadas is well prepared and very patient. Before I took the first lesson, I was not so sure if I would continue to study Kyrgyz, but now I will definitely continue studying this wonderful language. Чон рахмат, Мукадас! - Минжон

Mukadas is and excellent teacher! I have noticed my Kyrgyz grow and blossom in ways I didn’t think were possible. It’s so amazing to have a supportive teacher not only provide materials to help my language grow, but also show patience as I progress in stages. Чоң рахмат!
