I'm a member of my University Korean Society, and I love teaching people about Korean culture and language! This is my main motivation for becoming a teacher.
Learning a language as an adult can be difficult and stressful. This is why my lessons are in a relaxed and calm environment; so that my student can develop confidence and enjoy themselves!
Whilst my lessons are fun, I strive to make them valuable to my student. Together we can improve your language skills effectively and efficiently!
Finally, I place a strong emphasis on flexibility and make a strong effort to adapt to students needs and individual interests. Minhas aulas e estilo de ensino
My lessons have many different aspects to them:

RELAXED CONVERSATION

LISTENING AND COMPREHENSION
We can go through scenarios of daily conversations you would have in Korea.
Every student learns in a different way, so each of my lesson plans is completely unique to the student.
I believe hobbies and passions are important for learning languages.
We can read an article about your passion
We can have a debate/discussion about the topic
Unfortunately, I DON'T TEACH KOREAN GRAMMAR, so my lessons will be more suitable for students who are looking for a more conversational approach to learning Korean.Meu material de ensino

My lesson with Hyoju was once again really good! We discussed several topics in Korean, and where needed she helped me improve my grammar and vocabulary! The conversations are always a lot of fun and interesting, I feel more confident talking about those topics now. I’m really thankful for the lesson and I’m already looking forward to the next class. :)

Amazing first lesson with Hyoju today! She is attentive and easy to talk to about any topic. She also gives excellent feedback and will be able to understand or explain things in English as well if you need her to. I strongly recommend her and will definitely be booking more sessions myself!

Hyoju is a great instructor, but more importantly, a phenomenal human being. She has an interesting background and offers thought provoking perspectives to introduce new vocabulary through the course of conversation.
