I would describe myself as friendly, enthusiastic and respectful. I'm not afraid of making mistakes (and neither should you!) and I'm open to suggestions and new ideas. Minhas aulas e estilo de ensino
I tailor each class according to the students' needs and interests. I combine a use of audiovisual resources and materials, such as books, articles, videos, songs, etc . My classes are dynamic and I strive to make them fun and interesting. Also, unless the student wants it, I try to avoid the traditional methods (grammar-translate or grammar-based methods). I use a combination of the natural approach, which is the way we acquire language when we are young, and a communicative approach, that is to say, learning through real communication and meaning.Meu material de ensino

I took Spanish lessons with Lucia for over one year and enjoyed every one of them. My main goal was to improve conversational fluency and to dust off my Spanish from many years ago. She allowed me to achieve this goal and more! She always knew when to correct me and when to let me discover the error myself, and made an effort to introduce new vocabulary each lesson. I highly recommend Lucia and look forward to crossing paths again in the future.

I have done several Spanish classes with Lucia, and she is the best!
Excellent classes and easy to talk to. Fabulous conversational practice. She is passionate about languages and can explain and answer even the more esoteric questions and concepts in simple terms.
I can highly recommend.

Lucia is a WONDERFUL teacher. I have been taking weekly classes with her for just over a month. I tried out several different teachers and she was my clear first choice. Lucia is super well organized, engaging, kind, and clear in her instructions and feedback. She uses great materials and personalizes her classes to the student. I highly recommend her! Thank you for your wonderful classes Lucia :)
