Hello everybody! I'm Sophie from Berlin. My native language is German and also I'm fluent in Spanish, English, and French. I have a lot of experience studying languages myself. I studied 10 languages until now (English, Spanish, Japanese, Norwegian, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, French, Mandarin Chinese, Italian, and Hebrew) I lived abroad in Ecuador, the French-speaking part of Switzerland and Tel Aviv. I love to travel and visited 33 countries so far. I studied Spanish and French at Humboldt University and worked as an interpreter and translator.

I am passionate about sharing my knowledge with you! I can understand and relate to the struggles of language learners and I'm happy to assist you on your way to fluency. I have experience teaching children and I have a lot of patience. I am open-minded and I love to talk to people from all over the world. I am creative and will find the best way that suits your needs in order to succeed in your goals. Due to my linguistic studies, I have a lot of in-depth knowledge about languages.

Sophie is absolutely wonderful! Very positive, attentive, brings up interesting topics to discuss. Provides just enough supportive materials. The way she types up all the words I don’t know during class has been extremely helpful — to be able to go back and review new vocabulary. Highly recommended!
