I have been taking lessons with Niccolò for several months. Niccolò has a calm and encouraging presence and that really quiets my anxiety that I tend to have when struggling to find the right words in Italian. Niccolò makes a real effort to teach. He brings attentions to problems that arise during our conversation by sharing his screen and working in PowerPoint. Very effective... and then a PDF of this is sent for later review. Niccolò is a fantastic teacher--always immaculately prepared with useful resources that address and then further develop on any questions of grammar or usage that come up in class, but also happy to talk about history, culture, and the like.

Niccolo is an excellent teacher in general, but where he really shines is in his ability to figure out specifically what you need very quickly and customize his approach to your situation. He's very knowledgeable, not just about the "hows" but will also teach you the "why". He strikes a great balance between prioritizing fluency and precision, and also creates a supportive environment where you can feel safe to make mistakes while learning. You will get a lot of value in his lessons and improve very quickly. Highly recommended.
