I am a highly qualified (DELTA module one) professional teacher working in Cambridge, United Kingdom with over ten years' experience in teaching English as a Foreign Language and in particular, exam preparation courses, in the classroom and over two years' experience teaching online. I specialise in exam courses, such as the Cambridge Exams (the First, and Advanced) and IELTS, with students benefiting from my high-level of knowledge in improving skills, such as speaking and writing, as well as, accuracy in word usage and grammar. Using a wide variety of materials, I aim to improve not only your exam skills, but also your general English knowledge. This means you can expect to improve your grammar and vocabulary through web links and a mix of course book material. I will guide you through the exam preparation process, but focusing mostly on your needs. If required, I will teach you writing styles, inviting you to submit written work from which further learning takes place. Plenty of speaking practice is also encouraged in order to build confidence when speaking about a variety of topics. Strategies can be discussed and constructive feedback to test practice will be given to help you to refine your answers.Meu material de ensino

I'd been doing a CAE preparation course with Fiona and I passed the exam with flying colours. I had a lot of problems with my speaking and writing but now I can easily write an essay without spelling mistakes, which is a real breakthrough for me. I gained confidence in my speaking and enriched my vocabulary. I even started using some idioms and I sound more natural now.
I'd like to thank Fiona for her priceless help and kindness. She's the best teacher I've ever had! It's a pleasure to work with such an agreeable person. She is just a brilliant teacher - knowledgeable, approachable, inspirational.
