One of our best sessions ever ( but they're all good!) today. Eliška has a great talent for knowing exactly when to interject/make suggestions and when to let the student continue. This allows the conversation to flow naturally and fluency ( sort of!) to develop. And THEN she gives the opportunity to self-correct, which I think is vitally important. Such a pleasure to work with!

I had an excellent first lesson with Eliška. I was nervous because it was the first time I tried to speak Czech and listen to a real person speak Czech. She helps a great deal by typing words that I do not know or understand. She explained everything very well. She corrects homework quickly for your review and gives many helpful links to the internet. She is terrific!

Today I had my 28th lesson with Eliškou and it was the most natural I’ve ever felt speaking Czech. She knows exactly when to pause to allow you to say something, and she has an incredibly good sense of when to correct you vs. let you keep speaking. I can literally feel myself improving during every conversation with her, and to be honest I already know that next week will become my new “best conversation ever” because she’s so consistently fantastic. I could not recommend her more as a Czech tutor. Děkuju mnohokrát a uvidíme se příště!

Eliška is a fantastic teacher. She handles the fact that I speak Czech but cannot yet write and do not know any grammar amazingly well. The first teacher who helped to identify the gaps in my knowledge and helped me improve. I really appreciate the support and look forward to the next lessons.

I cancelled the lesson last minute. My apologies. Eliska was fantastic in our earlier lesson and I look forward to out next one.
