Teaching and learning are two complementary themes. Each class that teaches students is also a lesson for myself, and the time accumulates valuable experience.

I have spent more than a year creating my own learning website and learning materials, taking my daily life as the theme, shooting videos, and making courseware, which is equipped with new words, grammar and exercises. I believe that only in this way can you learn the most authentic and practical Chinese. I am very happy to make use of online resources to make my courses more diversified and effective. I can make a customized Chinese course and lessons based on the specific topics that you want to learn and implement these into the courseware.

Each lesson with Rachel is a pleasure. She is always prepared and takes her job seriously, but every lesson is also relaxed and personal. If I'm focused, we can progress quickly; if I'm struggling, Rachel takes more time to go over things in a variety of ways until I get it. Learning a new language will always be a challenge, but with Rachel helping me, I feel a lot more confident that someday I’ll finally get there.

Rachel is a very supportive teacher and is always very well prepared. She sends me an article to read before the class and then we go through it together. We also have free flowing discussion in which she helps me with any unknown vocabulary. I really enjoy my lessons with Rachel. Rachel is very punctual and has a great internet connection, so that our lessons can proceed smoothly.
