Me as a teacher, I am not strict and I do have a high patience. I don't want my student to feel pressured. I want my students to be attentive and cooperative in my class.

I am a teacher with long patience. I always understand the status of my student, especially the beginner. I understand that they feel fear and pressure. I give them opportunity to share their knowledge, ideas and experiences to help them improve their speaking skills. I use rewards like smiley and encouraging words to help my students build their confidence.

I started my teaching career since 2015 and I work with students in all levels, from beginner to advanced.

Though I don't have formal education in teaching, I've gotten a lot of experience using the languages I speak in practical situations. Working within customer service has been a big part of mastering the languages I teach here on iTalki, both in terms of language skills as well as refining my communication skills.

I can describe myself as a friendly, respectful and very cheerful teacher. I want my students feel comfortable during my class.I am friendly because I want to make my students feel that speaking English and Tagalog can empower them to share ideas and they will become better when it comes to verbal, written and comprehension of language. I started as General Education Teacher handling language courses in English and Filipino 13 years ago. I've also handled Social Science classes such as History, Humanities, Philosophy and my field of specialization - Psychology. With a little over 13 years of teaching experience under the belt, I am quite certain that I can help you achieve your learning goals the quickest and easiest way possible.

As a teacher, I am very relaxed. I want to start the classes with simple conversations to gauge the knowledge of the student on Tagalog and/or English. As classes progress, I build up the lessons slowly so that learning curve of the student will also start increasing. I can do classes at night from 8PM to 12MN (PHT), and can also do weekend classes (Saturday and Sunday).

This may be not my first time teaching ever, but this is definitely the first time that I would teach in a formal classroom setting. I apologize in advance for my rookie mistakes, I will do my best to learn and grow from them and from my students. 이번은 제가 가르친 첫 경험이 아니지만 격식을 차린 수업에서 가르칠 이번이 처음이기 때문에 저는 교직에 관련한 실수를 하면 미리 사과드립니다. 제가 틀림으로 배우고 개발되도록 하겠습니다.

In my class I offer different types of lessons and all of these are tailored according to your needs. So just till me about your goals and we can start from there. During the class we can read articles, have a dialogue practice and talk about a certain topic. We can also just talk freely about anything under the sun. The best way to learn a language is to put it in practice so I expect you, the student to speak more in class. I believe this is very effective for you to be more confident in speaking. I also make sure that in each and every class it will be fun and instructive.

Learning is a process in which one acquires new knowledge or improves and expands on existing knowledge through teaching and engaging in enjoyable conversations. I taught Filipino(tagalog) privately to some children who were raised with the English language, and they influenced me with how jolly they are, which I carried over to teaching adults as well. It will cause you to be a better listener, patient, approachable, and kind to your students as a teacher. My goal is not only to teach students, but also to allow you to learn from each lesson so that you can eventually learn how to construct and pronounce Filipino sentences and apply them to your daily life when we get to the final lesson.

In itaki I taught lawyer, pilot, doctors, English Translator, Professors, & Teachers as well. I am passionate about teaching and eager to let my students learn new things. Although my experience in teaching English is profound, I believe that learning should be fun, simple & easy going. I teach English from beginner to advanced/Business English. I had a chance to teach English to a pilot, an actress/talent, managers, as well as other business professionals from big companies in South Korea when I was with Asian-American Language Center & other previous companies I worked with. Each student is different & has different learning capabilities, so I will cater a class specifically for you.

I am a passionate teacher who can cope very well with pressure. I always present lessons in a clear and structured way . And I keep motivating my students with lively approaches. I always find ways on how to be creative to make the lessons as engaging and as effective as possible.

I will give my best in every lesson and be always understandable to student and accommodate them to the best that I can. Aside from this is also to give realization and essence of the lessons that I teach and have an exchange of knowledge too with my students. I will make sure that my student will be always engaged and make them enjoy learning a new language to have better understanding and to make them feel free and not pressured.

Teaching has always been my passion. I never choose the kind of learner to teach. I believe that learning is full of diversity. My profession is limitless. I myself can learn while I teach. I feel great joy as I witness my students grow and develop their skills. Teaching is a never ending study or learning on the teachers part. Me as a teacher needs to be updated and versatile to every student I get to teach.

Having grown up in the province of Laguna, I am absolutely in love with the Tagalog language. It connects me to my deepest roots and it is a home I always carry. I have teaching experience in colleges and language schools, as well as privately to corporate clients, diplomats, travelers, and entrepreneurs. Being in the field of Philippine Studies, the classes go beyond language. You can expect a teacher with expert knowledge on Philippine linguistics, history, culture, and society. Also, as an avid language learner involved in different polyglot communities I can help you navigate the world of language learning.

As a teacher being friendly is a great help so the students will feel comfortable with me. I teach with no pressure because I was a student before and I really know how it feels. Respect and Patience is my edge from any other teachers, but I can be funny sometimes.
