I have 20 years of teaching experience (since 1998) and I started teaching online in 2017. While I was in the United States teaching Spanish I also studied a Master’s Degree in the Teaching of Foreign Language and Literatures, and a Ph D in Applied Linguistics in the Acquisition of Spanish as a Second Language. I have several papers published on the topic of the pedagogy of Spanish and I have been granted four Teaching Excellence Awards based on students' evaluations and performance.

I am currently working in an international Spanish school for foreigners, I’ve been working in this field for 5 years. The further I go the more I realize how difficult teaching a language is, but also, the further I go the more I like and I enjoy it. It’s very satisfying to me when the first days students arrive and they have no idea of Spanish and over time I can see how the students are progressing and developing writing, listening and communicative skills. This is the reason why I’ve been teaching Spanish all this time, basically because I’ve always felt vocation for this profession apart from my interest in languages and different cultures.
