I'm new to teaching on iTalki but I've been teaching Japanese online for a year now. I also love learning new languages and currently, I'm taking Greek lessons here. Therefore, I understand the difficulties we face when we learn new languages and sometimes you might feel like giving upon them. But I'm here to support you and encourage you to keep learning what you love! So don't be afraid to learn Japanese! Some of my French friends are interested in Japanese, so sometimes I teach them the language. I understand how difficult it is to learn a language, especially Japanese. I think that students must have conversation lessons as often as possible. So we can talk in Japanese about a topic which interests you, for example culture, music, art, or sports.

In 2017, I passed the Japanese Language Teaching Competency Test and became Japanese teacher. My first job is teaching Japanese for the beginner’s course in Tokyo, and then in Vietnam for 2 and a half years. Contents are business Japanese, how to pass the JLPT, pronunciation, and so on. The class of pronunciation was well-received for staff who work at Japanese hotels in Vietnam. 2017年、日本語教育能力検定試験に合格して日本語教師になりました。はじめは東京の日本語学校で初級のクラスを教えました。 その後、ベトナムで2年半教えていました。 ベトナムではいろいろな人にいろいろな日本語を教えました。へビジネス日本語、JLPTの試験対策、発音レッスンもやりました。特に発音のレッスンは、日系のホテルで働く人たちから高い評価をいただきました。

I've been on here for a few years now & I also teach outside of iTalki as well. Hence, I've learnt a lot of grammatical rules that explain what I had previously been doing instinctively and I would say I know how to explain 90% of the stuff that goes on and if not, I could probably explain it using the way we learnt Japanese grammar in Japan, in Japanese (it's a little different).

小さい頃から自分が理解したことを、人に教え、その人が理解してくれる過程が好きだったので、大学生活中に塾の講師などをやることも考えたのですが、そのようなことを考えているうちにあっという間に時が過ぎてしまい、結局アルバイトで塾講師をやることはありませんでした。その後、紆余曲折を経て、アイルランドにて英語を学んでいる現在に至ります。こちらに来て驚いたことは、日本に興味をもってくれている人が世界中にたくさんいるという事です。多くの人は日本のアニメ、カルチャーに興味があり、その過程で日本にも興味を持った人が多いのですが、コロナが収束したら日本に行くといっている人が大勢います。 また、自分自身新しいことに挑戦したいと考えていた時に、チューターとして日本語を教える職業があると知り、ここなら、自分が今経験している言語学習の苦悩を活かしつつ、少なからず日本に興味がある人の手助けができるのではないかと考えております。また、同時に心の片隅にずっとあった人に物事を教えるという事がかなうという事もあり今回応募させていただきました。インターネットを介し、画面越しの授業となるので、言いたいことが上手く伝わらない、雰囲気が伝わらないといったインターネットならではの問題点があると思いますが、良い方向に捉えると、比較的リラックスして生徒、チューターお互いがコミュニケーションをとれる場でもあるので、上手くこの環境を活かしていこうと思います。
