I teach with passion , patience and enthusiasm because I love my job! Students think my teaching is extremely clear and well-structured without getting bored but taking into account the difficulties you might encounter . I have extensive experience with students of all ages and motivations : either learning the language for travelling , working , studying or for the simple pleasure to learn /improve Italian !

I have been studying English and Spanish, so I know from experience that learning a language takes time and dedication. My aim is to make this process as pleasant and fun as possible. I deal with many students around the world by giving language lessons, both in person, at the Italian language school Accademia Leonardo in Salerno, and via Skype. My passion for languages and my studies brought me to understand that languages are not just simple codes ruled by grammatical norms, but that they are actually used to express ourselves as individuals with different backgrounds and cultures.

I love to help other people to learn a new language, because I think that to be bilingual is one of the greatest thing you can do in your life! My motto is: you can't buy happiness, but you can learn languages and that's kind of the same thing!

I started teaching Italian as a foreign language in 2003, and I've been teaching online for about three years. I have a University Degree in Translation and a Ditals Certification. I love teaching and I truly enjoy helping my students.

Thanks to my past as a language student and my work experience, first as a language tutor and now as a teacher, I am able to understand what is useful to a student during his learning path, what can help him achieve his goals. Each student is different from the other, so it is important to use a different method each time, which adapts to everyone's needs, making learning as easy and pleasant as possible. During my career I also had experience with students with learning disorders, such as dyslexia. The age range of my students ranges from middle school kids to adults, everyone is welcome!

I always enjoyed learning and teaching languages and in 2017, I decided to do this professionally. Teaching languages is extremely fun for me and makes me happy! My friends and colleagues think I’m very patient and relaxed, a good listener and an incurable optimist!

I'm degree in Tourism but I also study Design in Italy and 3 years ago I (finally) got a master in Digital Marketing in Spain. When I reach my 30s I decided to travel around the world for 2 years where I used to teach private classes of Italian (my mother is an Italian Teacher so I learn from her) and also find my new home, actually in Laos (since 2013). This 7 years in Laos was for me a goal, because I got a job as Tour Guide for Italian/Spanish tour and open 3 Restaurant (as I like cooking Italian but also Asian Food). During COVID situation I was teaching Italian/Spanish to Asian people in Laos and learning also a new Language (Lao).

I started teaching when I was 16 years old. I have taught adults and children, in private classes and public school. I have taught Italian, English, Spanish, Italian for foreigners, and figure skating! A life as a teacher! My favorite thing? Creating value and understanding the specific needs of my students. I love my country, and I would like to teach my language to everyone who wants to talk about Italian culture, foreign countries, politics, music, tv, food. We will work on customising lessons, based on your level and goals. I care about my students and about forming a human relationship that can make our lessons both useful and enjoyable.

My teaching experience began in Italy, teaching foreigners that they were integrating in my country. Then I worked in Colombia, in private schools with children and adolescents, as well as with one-to-one lessons for adults. I learned to understand the differences and specificities of each student, to provide them with the lessons and the most suitable tools for his progress. Now I'm teaching in Peru and I'm happy, Teaching and communicating are two things that I love so much!

I have been teaching Italian during an EVS (European Voluntary Service) in Bulgaria for 6 months, for the local people, and I have been also teaching English in Denmark for 7 month during my Teaching Practice in a school for kids with special needs, as part of my pedagogy education. During this period, I had many pedagogical possibilities to witness the importance of preparing a good lesson and always having a back-up plan. Moreover, I also understood how relevant it is to create a good connection with the students and get to know them better in order to make them feel part of the learning process and being in the driving seat of their education.

I like to really understand what a student needs, and what he/she hopes to achieve. I am open to all kinds of topics and i try to be as engaging as possible.

I believe that learning a new language is a long journey that leads us to a new version of ourselves. For this reason, it's important to choose who'll be your guide and mentor. I see myself as an empathic guide and a good listener, always committed to helping my students reaching their language goals and overcoming their difficulties. I care about my students feelings and moods as I understand how difficult learning a new language can be. For this reason, my goal is to make the learning process stimulating and funny. I'm committed to motivating my student in every class through engaging activities and stimulating materials.

I consider myself an interested and committed tutor but also a learner that always wants to improve herself. I think that every person has a different learning style and I truly believe that "What we learn with pleasure, we never forget" so your engagement and motivation are fundamental. I will be happy to help you improve your Italian in a way that you find effective and enjoyable: nothing is more gratifying for me than learning and having a good laugh together!
