I graduated from Università Statale di Milano in 2013 in "Foreign Languages ​​and Literatures". After university, I obtained a 1st Level Master in "Promoting and Teaching of Italian Language and Culture to Foreigners". In 2013 I was an intern at the Italian department of Kennesaw State University, USA. My Master’s final project was published as an article in an specialized Italian LS/L2 magazine. After my Master, I had many teaching experiences, also with Individuals with learning disabilities, both in Italy and in the USA. I worked in Pennsylvania as a Teaching Assistant for the elementary, intermediate and advanced Italian language and culture classes at Bucknell University, Lewisburg.

Mi piace l'insegnamento e vorrei mettere a frutto nell'insegnamento della lingua italiana tutta l'esperienza acquisita.

In 2012, in Curitiba, Brazil, I opened my own school, Corso Brancaleone, where I offered language courses in which, since the first lesson – even for beginners – we followed collaborative study paths on Italian art and history. It was a great experience that made me meet so many people interested in going beyond the common language lessons. Through the programs Italiano+Arte and Italiano+Storia you can learn Italian and at the same time follow a discovery journey into italian history and/or art history. Working with images, maps and videos, we can explore Italy’s fascinating events and cultural heritage while mastering the italian language.

Non voglio essere solo il vostro insegnante, ma anche il vostro educatore. Vorrei darvi dei consigli per imparare l'italiano con un approccio comunicativo che favorisca la partecipazione attiva e la curiosità. Insegno francese in istituzioni scolastiche italiane dove ho imparato le moderne tecniche di insegnamento e la padronanza dei programmi scolastici. Ho insegnato presso associazioni di italiano L2 a Roma dove ho lavorato con bambini, adulti, in classi individuali, con gruppi di conversazione o corsi di preparazione agli esami ufficiali.

Insegno italiano agli stranieri da circa due anni e l’ho sempre insegnato in contesti multiculturali a persone provenienti da qualsiasi parte del mondo. La mia passione sono le lingue, ma mi piace parlare anche di storia, geografia, arte, musica e cinema. Se avete argomenti particolari come quelli appena citati possiamo parlarne insieme durante la lezione, possiamo fare conversazione. Since 2 years I have been teaching Italian in cross-cultural contexts, to people coming from all over the world. Languages are my passion. I like also history, geography, art, music and movies as well. If you share the same passions, we can talk about them during our lessons.

About my teaching strategy: Personally, I prefer to start with key words and sentences you will actually need in real life situations and then expand your knowledge with grammar rules and vocabulary. I have a flexible schedule and I will make sure to be available for you, feel free to contact me! The inspiration for this job came to me while I was a volunteer in Peru, in a small school in the Andes. There, I realized that I enjoyed learning other languages and that I could help others to do so, as I could speak about languages for hours! Since I started working I have never stopped! I looked for and found work in Italy, France and Romania, in different schools and international institution, like the Istituto italiano di cultura og Bucharest.

Sono un'insegnante paziente e cerco di mettermi nei panni degli studenti, mi piace lasciare loro spazio di espressione e per me l'insegnamento è comunicazione bidirezionale. I'm patient and I try to put myself in the shoes of my students, I let them express themselves. My idea of teaching is mutual communication.

Ho deciso di diventare Tutor per due ragioni: amo la lingua Italiana che è meravigliosa e perché capisco le difficoltà che si incontrano quando si inizia a studiare una lingua straniera. Sto studiando su Italki la lingua Francese e i miei progressi sono incredibili, parlare con qualcuno e’ davvero l’unico modo per imparare o perfezionare una lingua straniera.

I am a friendly and enthusiastic teacher passionate about languages, teaching, and learning. I have been learning languages for years and I know the struggle when it comes to memorizing new vocabulary, new grammar rules and pronouncing new sounds. Learning a language is an extraordinary journey, but I know that it is easy to get frustrated when the results do not tie in with our expectations. I want my students to gain confidence in their ability of learning languages. I'm ready to share with you tips, methods, and tools, that I have discovered throughout my experience as a language learner and language enthusiast.

I am curious, open-minded, and flexible, meaning that I always try to adapt to my student's needs. I believe that the more fun you have, the better you learn! My main focus is a conversation, however, I am open to go through single grammar topics and adapt my lessons accordingly.

My motivation for becoming a teacher is that I enjoy instilling confidence in people and sharing whatever knowledge and experiences that I have had in my life. I'm currently teaching between Italy and Iran, with courses for all levels, normal or intensive, online lessons and preparation courses for Italian certification exams: CELI, CILS, PLIDA (i am a CELI certified examiner). I have taught to people from around the world, in person and online: there is nothing more rewarding than seeing your students learn and improve! ;)

I like to really understand what a student needs, and what he/she hopes to achieve. I am open to all kinds of topics and i try to be as engaging as possible.

Sono una persona capace di ascoltare e che riconosce l'importanza dei feedback e delle correzioni, senza però che queste ultime diventino un limite affinché la comunicazione avvenga. Cerco di capire quali sono i desideri e le difficoltà dell'alunno (timidezza, scarsità di vocabolario...), per superarle assieme.

I have experience teaching since I was in school, as I was tutoring younger students in Maths and English. Later, after I moved to Australia, I started pairing with English native speakers to tutor each other in our respective languages. That's when I realised how much fun it was to teach and share my native language! I know that learning a foreign language is hard, for some harder than for others. I also know how standardised language tests can be and absolute nightmare. But remember that every time you take action by reading an article in Italian, watching an Italian movie, or by attending a class, you make a step forward. Be proud of yourself and keep going!

Prima di essere un insegnante, sono una persona esattamente come te. Come te, ho dovuto anche io imparare una lingua nuova: so come ti senti e so che hai paura di sbagliare. Non ti preoccupare: è tutto normale. Capiremo insieme quali siano i tuoi obiettivi e il tuo punto di partenza e da lì costruiremo questa nuova lingua che hai scelto di imparare. Il mio obiettivo più grande come insegnante è sempre quello di regalare agli studenti l'abilità di essere sè stessi anche in un'altra lingua. Arrivare ad avere la stessa padronanza e sicurezza che si ha nella propria.

Sono docente universitario, PhD in Italianistica, Università di Roma La Sapienza, insegno italiano ad arabofoni ed arabo ad italofoni dal 2006.

I'm patient, supportive and cpmmunicative. I enjoy teaching and I've been preparing myself as a teacher, I obtained the certification for teaching by taking the following exams didactic of languages, pedagogy and psychology of learning- In my opinion the most important thing is to learn to see the fun part of studying other languages ​​and to be motivated to develop your skills and abilities. Anyone can do it. Remember there are no shortcuts and make sure you have fun doing it. It is very important to spend time with the language every day, you need strong motivation to stay on track if you want I would be really happy to support you and motivate you on your journey towards learning Italian

I will be a helpful, empathetic and friendly tutor. I have studied languages myself (English, Japanese and Spanish) and I know it can be exciting and difficult at the same time.
