In Israel I taught in elementary school for two years and when I moved to the states I taught in a Hebrew school, for a few years, all ages as well as private lessons, and tutoring people before Hebrew exams. I tailor my classes to the individual student - the content and material I bring are chosen according to what you express interest in. So if you are interested in astronomy, we will learn Hebrew using astronomy; and if you want to read the Bible, we will do that. I really enjoy teaching people about Israel and Judaism, and so I also have an array of materials about these subjects. In addition I've created short recorded stories, accompanied by a PDF and a dictionary, where the student learns verb conjugation, sentence structure and vocabulary, while listening to stories.

I believe in positive encouragement as one of the strongest tools in learning anything new. If you just want to try a few lessons with me that is absolutely fine even if you can't commit any time for homework between lessons. But I always say the best way to learn is firstly to understand that there is only so far a teacher can take you. If you honestly want to learn and progress it would be best if you spend some of your time between lessons going over material we've covered and practise.
