I have been tutoring French for more than 4 years in secondary schools in Cameroon. I helped many native speakers of English and during the last couples of years. I have taught French to children, teenagers and adults. I am currently working as a High School Teacher in Accra - Ghana where I live now. I like to experiment with new techniques and I always try to improve myself. I am looking for enthusiastic and dedicated students who wish to be comfortable with the language.

As a teacher I will give you all the tips you need to be fluent an confortable for casual conversations. We will speak about many subjects that you like and you will improve your vocabulary, prononciation and fluency. According to my studies, I can provide many specific vocabulary about construction, building and surveyor subject. I found my passion for teaching while in college when I quit my part-time job at a restaurant bussing tables. I followed the advice of a friend, who was a tutor, and started tutoring students for some extra cash. I tutored students in my major, which was Spanish, and eventually began helping English Language learners, as well. I found it to be such a rewarding experience; I loved it! I have worked with native speakers of Spanish, French, Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, and Arabic and I have found that everyone has a unique perspective. Since graduating with my Bachelor's degree in Spanish, I have had wonderful experiences teaching English in schools in Spain & France.

My Spanish lessons have CLEAR goals, unlike most iTalki lessons. Most students continue with a teacher until they get bored or realize they are not improving fast enough, and then they move on and repeat the process again with a new teacher. Then, 2 years later, they wonder why their Spanish hasn’t improved much. Does that sound like you?  I'm NOT about having fun.

I believe in helping you master French as it is spoken/written by actual French speaking people, not textbooks. This means adapting the material and language level to the situation. Indeed, we don’t usually speak in daily life the way a journalist does on the news. And we don’t write a formal report as we would an email to a friend. So knowing your goals and why you are learning French is essential.

I am quite flexible with content and what the needs of the student are.
