My name is Antonio Libertino and I was born and raised in Tropea, a beautiful seaside town in southern Italy. I currently live a few kilometers away from my hometown, between Tropea and another beautiful seaside place called Capo Vaticano. I speak English, a bit of German and Italian is my mother tongue... next to the Tropean dialect. I normally speak Italian with a standard accent, although sometimes my Calabrian speech comes out, but in any case I will teach you standard Italian. I like reading, listening, a little bit of everything, watching good movies ... and learning a lot of things.

I have been teaching Italian to foreigners for many years now, both face to face and online. I obtained the second level of the DITALS, which is the certificate of competence in teaching Italian to foreigners issued by the University for Foreigners of Siena and I have been teaching since 2003. Initially in a private school, then on my own, and I worked with all levels , from the absolute beginner, who are people starting from scratch, to those who have a very high level and simply want to improve their communication skills. I was a speaker at two Polyglot Gatherings and presented some unconventional ideas about learning.
