My name is Deidre and I am 23 years old. I was born and raised in Suriname, a former colony of the Netherlands, where Dutch also is the main language. I have a wide variety of interests such as: history, music, DIY projects, geology, design, fashion, nature and more. So we could talk about any topic during the lessons. I am improving my Spanish right now and I want you to feel comfortable because I know the struggle of learning a new language.

I do voluntary teaching work in Dutch and Spanish. My students or from different ages which helps me to be flexible and adaptive. For me teaching is very grateful work because I can see people making progress in their own way. It also taught me that everyone has a different way of learning. I would love to help you discover yours and finding pleasure in learning Dutch.

Moje lekcje & Styl nauczania

I am very flexible when it comes to teaching methods. It totally depends on the way you like it. We could be doing conversational skills with dialogues or grammar and pronunciation. We could also learn the accent with the use of audio files. The most important thing is that we can connect and the lessons are interactive in an informal and pleasant way. You may choose the topic for each lesson and I will prepare it. It could be anything that interests you from music to news, art or sports. You name it and we will have fun with it.
