Alina respected my preference to first hear and read authentic Ukrainian before trying to actively use it by myself. Instead of forcing me to speak Ukrainian, which I don't feel comfortable with yet, she prepared a decent amount of texts and we've read them through together. I liked that. I took one star off not because of how she taught, but because we had a few seconds of delay all the time, which often complicated our communication. But that was possibly due to the beta version of italki platform since I rarely have similar issues when talking with friends in Europe on other platforms.

Great lesson! Alina prepared a list of the most common and useful phrases in Ukrainian language, and we went together through it. It was very useful - great exercise. Highly recommended! Дякую!
