At the moment I am teaching General Russian and Business Russian. I prepare students for traveling and communicating with foreigners or moving to a Russian-speaking country. For those who study Business Russian my short-term goal is to give them enough knowledge to effectively communicate with their business partners, prepare for a job interview or get ready to start working in an international company. I want to encourage my students to use Russian more in their everyday activities such as watching movies, reading newspapers, listening to music in Russian. My teaching style is based on the Communicative Approach. I believe that no matter what the final goal of learning a foreign language is, communication skill should be taught first and foremost. Thus, it is important to identify student’s objectives and develop all four skills (Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing) equally. I teach adults who usually can tell me their goal in studying language, so I always use authentic materials, such as videos, music, newspaper articles or books to meet my students’ needs and allow them to get an idea what else they can use language for.Moje materiały dydaktyczne
