When I booked my lesson with Julien, he accepted very quickly and messaged me beforehand to ask me what I would like to talk about in our upcoming lesson. In the lesson, he did a good job of gauging my level of French and adjusting his style accordingly to suit my needs. He was very encouraging and constructive in his feedback. He even introduced me to some new French music and taught me some useful expressions, both formal and 'de la rue'. Looking forward to our next lesson!

It was an excellent first lesson. I had hoped for a casual setting for my first lesson because I wanted to capture the nuances of conversational French as we introduced ourselves to each other. Julien accommodated my wishes. He asked me about myself and introduced himself accordingly. I appreciate his mastery of the other languages I speak as he offered insightful information about how my languages relate to French. He is very respectful and professional in his demeanor. I especially appreciate that he brings an substantial element of fun to the session. I’m inspired by his motivation and I look forward to learning more from him.
