Merdan is a great teacher. The lesson was just what I was hoping for. He was prepared and flexible. Asked a few questions and he answered them. Also when I wanted to learn how to say something he would write it down and send it to me.

Merdan has extensive experience using iTalki as a student and that translates well to his approach as a teacher. He is well-organized, explained the alphabet clearly with examples, and adapted the lesson as we went along. Since I have never had exposure to the Uyghur language, we started from zero, with Merdan patiently helping me with pronunciation of the alphabet and learning to recognize the first four letters well.
