I got a certification in Education (C.A.P) specialised in teaching languages, at the Autonomous University of Barcelona in 2007. I also got a certification in Teaching Spanish as a foreign language at Cálamo & Cran, Barcelona. My experience in teaching in France, Spain and Ireland has allowed me to improve my language skills, as well as to increase my ability to adapt to new cultures and environments. I have been teaching at High Schools in France, as a language instructor for companies in Barcelona and Paris, and in private lessons during my years in these countries. I prepare interactive, fun, efficient and engaging activities to different types of learners, from beginner to advanced levels. Everything is adapted and customized to your needs and motivations: travel, business, academics, integration in a country, etc. I work with Google documents, screensharing, online ressources, textbooks, articles and images. I normally use Skype and Zoom, but I am open to other platforms if required. I encourage students learning and consolidating important concepts. I focus on oral expression to make you feel confident and motivate you to learn more. Excellent as usual! Josep is patient and encouraging and has a good sense of humour. Our sessions are primarily free-flowing Spanish conversations (which is what I wanted) but he also provides bits of helpful grammar that have helped me a lot. He explains things clearly and is great at giving me enough time to find the words/vocabulary to express myself (that takes such patience!), but also knows when to give a little clue or nudge with the correct word. I highly recommend him.
