My name is Christophe. I was born in Antwerp, Belgium, where I have been living all my live. My mother's tongue is Dutch. I have a wide range of interests. Getting to have a good grip on languages helps me better get acquainted with things I am curious of. I like, among other things, playing football, reading, art.

My own eagerness to learn makes for me to be a versatile teacher who pays attention to the specific interests of my students. I show interest in their goals and needs. We will use various sources, depending on those. I get into details, yet I am patient for my students to arrive there.

Of course we will start working on grammar and vocabulary. I imagine this is not for all people the most fun part of learning a language. To get my students through this, I make my lessons interactive, using vivid sources and examples that brighten up dry textbook stuff. It is a basis for a journey into the language in a more fun way from then on. I focus on making my students aware of their improvement in the course of the lessons as to make them notice their verbal capabilities grow.

On 22th May 2021, I had my second class with Christophe. We discussed about a visit to de winkel and had a pleasant time doing so. I will see him again on italki. Tot ziens Christophe.

On 15th May 2021, I had my first class with Christophe. I was impressed with his surname. We had a discussion with methodology and we talked about directions. He is going to send me a list of small cities in Belgium, that I might be able to live. I am looking forward to meet him one day after international travel is allowed as well as discussing soccer. I am also pleasantly surprised to know that Christophe is 188cm tall. That confirmed what I was thinking when I saw him. I will be looking forward to keep in contact with him.
