I have been teaching English in Asia, mostly Hong Kong, for over 12 years. I've taught all skill levels, and all ages from 4 years up, for a variety of purposes - General, Business, Exam preparation (IELTS, etc.), often in experiential (relevant, real-world) settings to enhance effectiveness of a holistic language teaching method. Not only have I taught hundreds (if not thousands) of students, I've also managed/worked with/trained other English teachers, so I have a wide-range of techniques for teaching, and understanding student difficulties. Because I'm curious about many things, I like to ask a lot of questions. That's not just out of interest, but it also helps motivate students to express themselves better, and it keeps them talking (instead of me ;-) I think people try harder when they are talking about things that matter to them.
I have a wide range of materials and lessons that can be accessed online, covering the development of all four English skills, with plenty of focused lessons to help correct specific grammar issues.
