I come from a family of teachers. My parents, aunts and uncles and cousins are all teachers! I have always been very interested in Education so after finishing high school I decided to enroll in a teaching degree. After graduating, I moved to London, where I worked as an Early Years Teacher in different settings. I also worked teaching English as a Foreign Language in Spain--it was super fun! I firmly believe learning should be an enjoyable experience. This is not to say that it won't require any effort, but the challenges must always be welcome with a positive, can-do attitude! I love using authentic materials to teach real, useful Spanish. Whether your passion is cooking, martial arts or knitting, we can incorporate it into the lesson to make it fun and engaging. I'm sure that together we can achieve your language goals!

It is clear that Alma is a trained teacher to the highest didactic standards. Her command of linguistics is the strongest of any language teacher I have studied with, perhaps in any langugae I have studied. And yet, such an enjoyable and well-paced lesson! If you're looking for a truly personalised and structured approach to your learning journey then I highly recommend Alma!

Her lessons are highly unorthodox from the usual. Her small activity kept me on toe for the entire duration and utilized every available second to the fullest. Highly recommended.

Excellent! Alma is always patient, kind, empathetic. She always has prepared lessons and homework for you to do. I am so pleased with the amount of progress I am making in so little time. She’s the best teacher ever!
