I have been teaching English here in Colombia for over two years. I now mainly work with adults to help grow their confidence in speaking English for work purposes. Regardless of your goals, I can help you achieve them. I will work flexibly with you and design lessons based on your needs. I am very patient and friendly with a neutral accent. I will provide you with the feedback you need to realise your errors so you can begin to fix them. I have a comprehensive TEFL qualification and a Bachelor's Degree in Business with my Honours in Marketing.
In Australia, I volunteered for years in a range of programs with refugees to help develop their English language skills and their business acumen. Moje lekcje & Styl nauczania
I deliver a range of lessons tailored to the needs of my students. This includes: general conversation classes, interview preparation and resume review, business English, grammar, reading and writing, including for a specific purpose. I have prepared a range of materials to use throughout the class. I use the text-box function in Skype to provide passive corrections and at the end of class I will provide you with a summary of mistakes with corrections and new vocabulary and/or grammar. Jessie gave me some very authentic opinion and taught me the importance of understanding the purpose and the audience when answering a question. We went through a question again and we both could see the improvement I made in the second attempt, and this really brought me a sense of achievement:)
