Hi, I'm Shota. Welcome to my profile. I was born and raised in Japan and am currently living in Jamaica. I've been to almost 30 countries and I'm lucky to have made friends all over the world. I love cooking and eating all types of cuisines. I also enjoy long walks and watching TV. I am fascinated by other cultures and the history of civilization. My friends tell me I'm a great conversationalist and super approachable. こんにちは、わたしの名前はショウタです。　よろしくお願いします。　日本で生まれ育ち、現在はジャマイカに住んでいます。　これまで30ヶ国ほど旅行し、世界中で友達ができました。　わたしの趣味は料理、散歩とテレビを見ることです。海外の文化や歴史に興味があります。　友人からはよく話しやすくフレンドリーと言われます。

I'm currently tutoring some students and I found it quite fun. I also enjoy sharing what I know with my students. My classes are conversational based catering to all levels. I choose topics based on students' interests and learning styles. I've studied English for the past 9 years, therefore I know how hard it can be to learn another language. I can also explain things in English as well. I specialize in free conversations, however I've taught lots of beginners as well so if you are a beginner, I can also teach you from the basics such as Hiragana, Katakana, Kanji and grammar. There is no one-fits-all-approach when it comes to learning a new language.
