I have six months at a formal job teaching English and Spanish and 2 years of informal tutoring, I became a teacher because I've always liked to help people understand each other and themselves better; I believe teaching a foreign language and a different culture is one way to do that. Because real conversations with real people are what you ultimately aim for when learning a foreign language! I am very easy going and patient, but I like to plan lessons in advance. I got so much value out of this lesson. Sergio really pushes me out of my comfort zone to speak and that is awesome because I leave the lesson with more knowledge that I am eager to put into practice. Always a nice conversation. Thank you!

What a nice guy! We had an extremely amusing time talking together about all sorts of things! I think I'll learn lots of new South American Spanish vocabulary from Sergio! It's also good for tuning my ears up, so that they (my ears!) can understand Spanish spoken with a different accent from the ones I'm used to in Spain.

I really enjoy in my lesson with Sergio. He encourages me to leave my comfort zone of English and even correct me during our chat. He has a great accent and I would definitely recommend him to you.
