Until he start of the COVID 19 crisis, I was teaching both online and in a language institute in Mexico where we take our students from beginner level to proficiency. But since the start of the crisis, I have been teaching online fulltime. I´ve always loved meeting people and talking to people so when I stopped travelling and settled down here in Mexico, working as teacher was a logical step. I really enjoy seeing my students develop and improve.
I´ve taught people between the ages of 14 and 70. My students tell me they like my classes because I am patient, have a sense of humor and because I make them feel comfortable in speaking the language that we are learning. Moje lekcje & Styl nauczania
I adjust my classes so that they are suitable for that specific student. If you are preparing for the NT2 exam or het inburgeringsexamen, than my class will be different than for someone who wants to learn Dutch for business purposes or for someone who want to learn Dutch in order to adapt more easily and have more fun during their stay in Belgium or Holland.
I focus on all aspects of the language. reading, writing, listening and speaking. For most students I focus most on the speaking part. I like my students to speak a lot during my classes. After two and a half months learning with Erik, I have noticed a big difference in my level. I started knowing little and now I am able to carry on a conversation.
