Al final de la semana continuamos observando la diferencia entre por y para. Fue muy educativo. La semana que viene queremos practicar esto más y combinarlo con el tiempo pasado.

Ella es maravillosa. Ella tuvo su tiempo para explicar cosas con muchas detalles y con una sonrisa grande. Ella es una buena profesora y quiero regresar a sus clases de espanol.

Mariseny listens well and encourages you to speak without intimidation

This will be my only review for Mariseny written in English. I could be selfish and try to keep her a secret, but I won't. She's a conscientious teacher, and it's obvious that she wants her students to learn. Don't let her sophisticated and formal writing style intimidate you! She's extremely down-to-earth, and she works hard to be helpful. I've only taken 5 classes with her, and my Spanish has noticeably improved. Of course, I have a long way to go, but I'm pleased with my progress. The 'trick' is to choose a topic that interests you in your native language, and discuss it in Spanish. If you choose the right text, new vocabulary and grammar are learned without feeling as if you're studying. Mariseny is my partner in this process, and I highly recommend her :)

Hoy hablamos de José Gregorio Hernández, un famoso médico venezolano. Recientemente fue honrado por la Iglesia. Un hombre muy interesante y una clase muy educativa.

Esta vez también tuvimos dos buenas clases. En primer lugar, intercambiamos algo sobre la situación de la corona en Alemania y Venezuela. Luego hablamos de las diferentes formas de celebrar la Pascua. Al final hicimos una pequeña digresión sobre las costumbres de los pueblos indígenas en Venezuela.
