I became a teacher after exchanging languages with a lot of people on italki!
At first, I was just interested in practicing my English. But soon I realized that I loved helping my language partners learn Spanish!
I studied and got my certificate at International House, a highly recognized school worldwide.
I have experience teaching both tourists and exchange students, as well as refugees and immigrants to Argentina, since I volunteer for a church in La Boca, a popular neighborhood in the south of the city.
I also manage a blog for Spanish learners! I write about grammar, vocabulary, learning techniques and typical expressions from Buenos Aires. Moje lekcje & Styl nauczania
My lessons aim to communication.
We are going to learn vocabulary and grammar, but focused on learning how to communicate in real life situations.
We are going to use texts, images and audiovisual resources, including authentic material that native Spanish speakers consume daily: songs, articles, radio and TV programs, etc, for you to be in contact with a real use of the language.
And always according to your needs, interests and personal goals.
We can have more formal lessons as well as conversation classes exclusively. It's up to you!

Usually I write the feedback in Spanish, but I want to make sure that any potential student can understand it. I had reached a plateau in my Spanish learning and had lost my motivation. However, since I started taking classes with Kevin, that has all changed. He is always well prepared with resources and google documents. He is not only a great teacher but a great guy with a lot of knowledge of many things such as, current affairs, history, and the arts. Class with Kevin was excellent. He is a great at asking interesting questions to elicit more speaking from me, which is the goal. He is also very supportive and encouraging when I'm speaking by giving me physical and verbal cues to show I'm being understood which allows me to build confidence in speaking and trying more complex constructions. He also reviewed my errors at the end of the lesson, he was so engaged that I didn't even realize he was taking notes. I strongly recommend Kevin, and I will def be taking more classes with him.
