I started lessons with Stephen 2 months before my CAE exam. Before, I practiced different part of the exam such as use of English, listening and reading on my own and I had one lesson per week with a native speaker. However, my previous teacher didn’t meet my expectations or care too much about my exam. So, I felt that I have to change sth quickly to have any chance to pass the exam. I needed somebody to helps me quickly build up my vocabulary, check my writing and, what was the most important for me, improve my speaking skills. So, I logged on italki, found Stephan and booked three CAE packages. Stephen is available almost everyday, so it wasn’t difficult for me to arrange fifteen lessons within 2 months. He’s also available within a wide range of hours, so I could have lessons at the most suitable time for me. Even in the late evening :) With Stephen I focused on speaking and writing. For one hour we were able to check 2-3 witting and do 2-3 speaking tasks. Amazing! I’ve never had so intensive lessons so far. During the lessons Stephen pinned down every mistake I made in my speech. So, I had notes after each lesson. This was what appealed me the most. What’s more, he’s also very supportive and punctual and never cut off lessons. Finally, I passed CAE exam and I received the best score for the speaking part.
