My main goal as a teacher is to get my students to be able to communicate and learn the structure of the language as well as enjoying every lesson. I love meeting people from around the world and share our cultural baggage while learning a new language. Moje lekcje & Styl nauczania
My teaching approach is using the Communicative method I have leaned in International House institute. For me, the most important thing when learning a language is being able to communicate! by introducing new vocabulary we approach the different communicative needs (ask for directions, talk about ourself, talk about daily routines etc.) and from there we introduce the needed grammar to fulfil that purpose. Maria is an excellent teacher. The first thing I really appreciate about studying with her is that we are using a textbook, as opposed to conversation only classes or random worksheets. This type of guided study is filling in a lot of the gaps in my knowledge of Spanish. The second is that Maria’s command of the english language is top rate. She is a true linguist and this shines through in all of our interactions. Finally, her personality is warm, welcoming and witty. We never fail to find moments of laughter in the midst of all that learning. I look forward to many more lessons with Maria as I continue the journey.

Another brilliant and fun lesson today talking about different houses and suitabilities. It amazes me how much my Spanish improves with every lesson with María. Each lesson brings me closer to my dream of being able to speak Spanish confidently in all kinds of situations. For that I am very grateful to María 😄
