During my time as a teacher and active language learner I've developed a unique method based on conversation and repetition. I use authentic materials, such as movies, books, articles, news, podcasts, leaflets, etc...I believe confidence is very important in expressing ourselves accurately, so I always try to encourage my students to step out of their comfort zone and try new things. Tina is always thoughtful and she carefully tailors the lessons every time. Whenever I have a question or a point that I am not sure of, she stops and makes sure that I understand thoroughly. She combines a multiple teaching methods including conversation, grammar and vocabulary building, all of which help me develop my overall Slovak languages skills. The best part is that she speaks fluent English AND Japanese, so she can explain the small details in either language if you’re not sure in Slovak. Thank you Tina Sensei!
