7 years ago I didn't want to be a teacher, my dad was already the 4th generation of teachers in my family and it seemed too boring!
Then I did the CELTA course in Chiang-Mai and was hooked.
I LOVE my job, there is nothing more exciting than helping my students to reach the 'ahaa!' moment where they respond in English without translating.
I love the variety of jobs they have and problem solving together,
for example:
- Prepping for a secret Netflix pitch
- Writing descriptions of their artwork
- Preparing for a webinar with the Economist (involved stalking on youtube)

- Authentic materials, which means a variety of podcasts and youtube videos for listening.
- Reading material comes from websites and blogs designed for native speakers.
- Preparation for the real world, my students don't have nasty surprises when they go to use their English in practise.
- We use real people speaking and a variety of accents from day one so that you are confident wherever you go every if someone is using expressions you don't understand, you will be able to work out the meaning.
- The speed you learn at depends on the effort and time you put in, we start with small assignments and then add more when you have available time and have established good habits!Moje materiały dydaktyczne
