I'm adaptive to your needs and I always aim to keep the lessons relaxed.

Grammar can wait. Learning the vocabulary, listening comprehension, and of course pronunciation are by far more important in the beginning of your language journey.
I have designed a system for acquiring Icelandic pronunciation, as this tends to be particularly difficult no matter where you’re from.

Wonderful first session with Mímir! I love how my teacher has a fun and entertaining way of bringing to life the nuances of Icelandic speech (and even German!). I am so much looking forward to touch on Icelandic literature, folklore, Tolkien and even linguistics in the next sessions. This I believe will be a very positive learning experience! ;-)

I absolutely had fun with the pronunciation drill today. Icelandic sounds are tough for me, but Mímir makes it a really entertaining exercise. Now I appreciate that getting it done correctly from the beginning is the right foundation in learning Icelandic. Takk Mímir! Sjáumst!
