As a teacher, I am very relaxed. I want to start the classes with simple conversations to gauge the knowledge of the student on Tagalog and/or English. As classes progress, I build up the lessons slowly so that learning curve of the student will also start increasing. I can do classes at night from 8PM to 12MN (PHT), and can also do weekend classes (Saturday and Sunday).

I've also handled Social Science classes such as History, Humanities, Philosophy and my field of specialization - Psychology. I would say I’m strict but fair when it comes to teaching. I believe when students are challenged with realistic goals and given the support they need not to just get the answers right but to be able to use those learning to solve future problems on their own, everyone comes out on top. I also think that as a teacher, it’s my job to support my students through the lessons I give, but also through the various challenges they may face during lessons, and to partner with them as well as other support systems to help them feel motivated, comfortable, and happy in learning new languages.

My goal as a teacher is for you to feel comfortable speaking English and Filipino. I specialise in accent reduction and pronunciation, and I always adjust my speaking speed to my student's level *For no shows* : If you would not show up or if you're late, I would give you a grace period/make up class or I would extend the time (for you) since you have 2-3 days to confirm the lesson on iTalki- no need to reschedule the lesson. If you would not attend the make up class then I would have to either report that the student did not attend or I would have to charge you

I have been teaching for 3 years in secondary public school as a Science, English, and Math teacher. My mission is to be a part of my students' success by teaching them the knowledge that they can utilize in achieving their dreams in life.
