I have experience teaching my native language from intermediate level upwards. I have also over 10 years of experience in Advertising and Automotive Components sectors, currently working in my family-owned Business. I have 20 years of teaching experience (since 1998) and I started teaching online in 2017. While I was in the United States teaching Spanish I also studied a Master’s Degree in the Teaching of Foreign Language and Literatures, and a Ph D in Applied Linguistics in the Acquisition of Spanish as a Second Language. I have several papers published on the topic of the pedagogy of Spanish and I have been granted four Teaching Excellence Awards based on students' evaluations and performance.

Back when I was living in Vancouver, I had the chance to teach some Spanish. I realized that you don't always need to go to standard classes to learn a language. The best way is to practice with a native speaker and I am willing to have conversational and creative classes with you. My Spanish lessons have CLEAR goals, unlike most iTalki lessons.
