As a teacher, I am very dynamic as I have taught several age groups over the years. I am, to some extent results-oriented and I work very hard to help my students achieve their language goals. Teaching has shaped my character and allowed me to see the world through the eyes of everyone student that has crossed paths with me. I believe that learning should be lifelong and holistic so I try to transmit this to my students so that they focus on their journey, their progress and of course the achievement of their goals on their time.

My teacher experience started when i was very young, since my parents had a school for special needs. Being a very devoted student and passionate about sports, I began my teaching career through physical education. After 15 years working in different schools I devoted myself to the study of linguistics to conclude my career. Alongside learning and teaching there came my yoga career. So, this is how I moved to another country and have been living there since 3 years ago. Living in a touristic town allowed me to become a Spanish teacher to people from different nationalities in a very natural and culturally rich place.

I think it’s important to create a friendly environment that’s why as a community tutor, I want the students to know we can speak about so many different things, it can be their hobbies, their interests or something they just read on the news. A class is so much enjoyable when we talk about things we are passionate about, and I’m sure learning will be more effective in an interactive, stress-free class.

The objetive of my clases is you will be able to communicate in Spanish. I will teach you and practice every single area: vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, listenings, writings and readings to you get your targer. I provide you materials to work together in class and to you continue working at home. We will speak Spanish from the beginning, adapting conversations to your level. I will prepare lessons taking into account your needs and your goals, both personally and profesionally.

During my career, I've studied English, Spanish, German and I learnt the basis of French on my own. I graduated in Languages and Cultures of South Asia (University of Venice) and I completed my MA in Communication, Literatures, and Media in South Asia (University of Heidelberg, Germany). Studying very different linguistic varieties such as Hindi, Hebrew and Urdu I improved both linguistic skills and more efficient learning methodologies: for this reason, I could assist students with difficult tasks and tutoring new beginners during each semester. Therefore, I have more experience with academic learning, teaching and translations.

As a teacher I think the most important thing is for the student to be engaged in the class, this is why I try to adapt the class to each student's needs, whether it's beginners or advanced Spanish. My goal is to help the student gain motivation so that practice and progress can come along easily!

My passion and love for languages motivates me to teach and help others to improve. I have experience teaching Spanish and English in Schools as well as in informal settings. Besides Spanish, I speak English and Portuguese fluently. La docencia es una de mis pasiones. Soy ayudante de cátedra en la Universidad de Buenos Aires, en la materia de técnicas de negociación y resolución de conflictos. Empecé a enseñar en una escuela de español para viajeros y voluntarios, entonces tengo experiencia para enseñar gramática y conversaciones dependiendo del requerimiento del estudiante. I started teaching in a Spanish school for travelers and volunteers, so I have experience teaching grammar and conversations depending on the student's request.

I talk and allow my student to talk and repeat but also I encourage them to create and interact. .I'm very persistent and patient.I like to learn from my students and I reward them while they do a great job. I do consider that any toy,song,video or phrase is meant to be used in a lesson, it's impossible to run out of subjects but we do have to plan in order focus in what really matters which to practice and master the contents. En mis clases me vas a conocer y vas a ver que soy una persona muy divertida, dinámica, comprensiva... El alumno se tiene que sentir cómodo en mis clases, tiene que sentir que está aprendiendo de una manera fácil, sin ser presionado, sinó que se tiene que sentir comprendido, puesto que aprender un idioma nuevo nunca es tarea fácil. Me gusta que mis clases sean provechosas, porque soy una persona muy disciplinada y me tomo muy en serio mi trabajo, pero siempre combinándolo con la diversión y el pasarlo bien. ¡Seguro que te van a gustar mis clases!

Me capacito todas las semanas para dar lo mejor de mí a mis estudiantes, no solo para impartirles conocimiento, sino también una experiencia inolvidable en cada clase. My experience as a student of a language and as a teacher of Spanish as a foreign language has helped me acquire the right techniques for each learning stage, also the suitable tools for each student. The main goal of a language student is to be able to communicate, that’s why my lessons are based on communication between the student and the teacher. Furthermore, I think that knowing the Spanish lifestyle will help you to learn the language, that’s why I’ll approach you to the Spanish culture. It doesn’t matter the level you are, or you’d like to prepare for an exam. I am here to help you to achieve your goals, as well as increase your confidence and fluency in the language.

I've taught both Spanish and English in Mexico (mostly to teenagers/young adults), always trying make my students feel comfortable so that they speak from day one. Creating an engaging lesson is key too, I believe this helps with motivation for learning, enjoyment of the class and retention.

I have a university degree (Bachelor and Master) in teaching languages and I have been teaching German, English and Spanish for over 5 years to students of different ages. My oldest student was 80 and I think he is a good example that it is never too late to start learning a new language or enhancing your language skills and taking your language learning to the next level. I'm a very patient and empathetic teacher who thinks mistakes are an important part of the learning process and whose goal it is to create a comfortable learning atmosphere for you.
