Adoro ser professora e, em cada lugar que trabalhei, aprendi algo novo que me fez repensar a minha metodologia. Como sou uma pessoa comunicativa, busco sempre a interação na sala de aula. Para tanto, proporciono as divertidas e dinâmicas para que os alunos se sintam a vontade e motivados a participar. Me interesso pelos meus alunos. Quero saber suas dificuldades, necessidades, gostos e motivos para aprender um idioma. Num processo de ensino-aprendizagem, é importante organizar as aulas para os alunos e não para mim. Quem deve ter os holofotes são os alunos e, portanto, busco possibilitar espaço de interação e que suas necessidades sejam reconhecidas como importantes.

My philosophy for teaching comes from how I learned English, I didn't learn it in school, but by myself. By the time I had English taught to me at school, I already spoke it freely. Why? Because the cartoons on TV were in English without subtitles, and the videogames I played were also untranslated, so I learned, while enjoying myself and without effort. School makes you hate learning because it is forced. And it is with this in mind that I would like to teach you Portuguese, it must be fun.

AT THE MOMENT, I AM OFFERING ONLY CONVERSATION CLASS. I love to communicate and I truly believe that human beings are always capable of learning. I understand that to teach is be challenged every day to think outside the box. Each student is unique and has his own form and time to learn. Humor and a light atmosphere are essential for an outstanding and satisfying class for both student and teacher.

Nas minhas aulas o meu foco é a prática da comunicação e expressões idiomáticas: poder falar com espontaneidade, fluidez, clareza, poder argumentar, fazer perguntas, ter o conhecimento de gírias e expressões de variadas regiões e principalmente conquistar a confiança de que sim, todos somos capazes de aprender um novo idioma, sem forçar o aprendizado, de acordo ao ritmo e a maneira de aprender de cada um(a). O fato de eu ter nascido e crescido entre duas culturas me fez perceber as diferenças, mas também as semelhanças, e o quanto isso pode vir a nos contribuir ao invés de atrapalhar :)

I first started helping people with Portuguese in an informal way. Then I started the channel on YouTube and found out my passion for teaching, then I started teaching! My main goal is to offer people what I didn't have while learning English: real contact with the language, conversation practice, practical tips on how to improve and useful feedback about mistakes.
