I am not a teacher by profession. However, I have significant experience teaching Malay language to many people from different parts of the world and I am loving it! My highest personal achievement in the Malay language includes obtaining the highest grade (A+) in Malaysian Education Certificate (SPM) and participating in debates when I was in high school.

I have a strong passion in teaching those who are interested to learn my native language. I am very flexible with my teaching style and will try my best to accommodate your needs. My goals are to increase your skills and confidence level as a non-native Malay speaker. My teaching styles will be based on the capability of my students. It doesn't matter if you are a beginner or simply just trying to make perfect sentences in your essay. The approach is straightforward. We practise pronunciation with video call, and we do we exercise on vocabulary to strengthen proficiency. The lessons are flexible as I will try to accommodate the needs and requirements of my students as per conversation.

I specialize in conversation. I don't use the textbook in my lesson. If you practice conversation with me sometime you will find that I speak a lot than you and sometimes I make you speak more than me. The idea is, while I speak, I want you to listen and pay attention, indirectly learn how to construct correct sentences, how to sound natural and through a lot of listening, you will familiar with the correct pronunciation. Then it comes to your turn to speak.

I have been tutoring Malay to non-native speakers since 2019, and I currently manage I Wanna Learn Malay resources on Youtube.

Being a teacher is about put your heart into what you are delivered. You provide broad opportunities to an individual. Other than that, you also set the first impression for them to pursue their passion.

I'm a native speaker of Malay and Thai as I learned Arabic and English for more than 10 years so I'm fluent in all of them. Now I'm still passionate about learning new languages too, so I'm started studying some French and Spanish in my spare time. I have work experience in teaching Arabic as a part-time job when I visited my country last summer, as I had experience helping my friends and family speak better those languages too and it made me want to help you here so. I can teach you whatever your level of that language is: beginner, intermediate, or advanced.

As a teacher, I am heavily observant of what my student needs to improve themselves. I have the patience to go through whatever it is that the student struggles with and I'm incredibly resourceful. With my theatre background, I'm able to apply it to language learning in a more natural way.

As a Malay native speaker and a community tutor. I will do my best to help you to master the Malay language and speak like a colloquial Malaysian. Because it will be easier for you to converse with Malaysians or local speakers. I am open to any recommendation or suggestion of teaching style and materials from my students.

I help beginner and struggling students to overcome their language learning obstacles using my cheat sheet. As a teacher and a student by myself, I believe in any languages that we need to know 1) What to ask 2) How to answer 3) How to deal with difficulties. and how Native speaks.

Coincidentally, after obtaining my MBA from University of Ballarat, Australia, I have been lecturing at local universities and colleges focusing in business on a part-time basis. My students had become my friends as I encourage speaking out, which is a rare thing in the Asian setting. I motivate them to learn as much as possible in and out of classroom lessons.
