As a language teacher, I have to be explicit communication with my students in terms of interacting, stimulate cognitive and consistency. In my previous teaching experience with teenagers, I learnt from them to be patient and keep motivating what is their goal and want to be. Of course, there are many dispositions to teach them. I think the most important quality as a teacher is the ability to encourage learners. Learning a language is not always easy and there are ups and downs. And it requires quite a bit of efforts and dedication. I believe that a good teacher makes learning more pleasant even when learners bump into obstacles, and makes them feel comfortable and relaxed so that they can speak without feeling nervous. So I try to be a good listener. I also try to make each class fun and helpful with lots of preparation.

I fully understand how hard studying another language can be, which is something realized while teaching students English and studying by myself. My goal is to help you speak Korean easily with a firm grasp of grammatical principles and to help you with confusing and complicated vocabulary.

My current experience of teaching Korean was at ICP Language academy and SAEM Korean center in Vietnam for 3 years.I normally teach Korean TOPIK I,II and Korean speaking conversation in academy, and I am now teaching online.

First of all, I majored in elementary education which teaches all kind of subjects to elementary kids. Therefore, since I was 20, I've taught various age groups from 5 years old kid to adults. The languages I taught were mainly Korean, English, and Chinese characters(한자). I have an experience staying in Canada when I was little, so I can speak English as well. Also, I used to help many foreign students in my college so that they can learn Korean language and culture. I enjoyed it very much, and that's why I like being a Korean teacher in Italki. I have been teaching English in Korea and the UK for nearly 10 years now. In Korea, I worked at private language institutions such as Wall Street Institute and Direct English where I taught students of various ages and careers. In the UK, I briefly taught in the summer programme at Bristol Language Centre, but I've mainly worked at the University of Bath where I am currently based. I am now working as an educational researcher, but still occasionally teaching students on academic skills. I am also a CELTA qualified teacher with a Master’s in TESOL and PhD in Education.
