I am very well organised and I am adaptable, I've always enjoyed working with various types of students with different motivations for learning: I centre my work on the needs and abilities of the students, my approach and methods adapt from time to time to the learning style and needs of the student, that's why the trial lesson is so important: to know each other and to plan the whole course. I always try to have fun during my lessons, because if I'm bored, the students are bored too. So I always propose new, interactive and attractive materials, I love using videos, songs, newspaper articles and multimedia applications for language learning.

Tramite la mia università, Università per Stranieri di Siena, ho avuto l'opportunità di fare esperienze lavorative all'estero: a Boston in una middle school, a Londra con adulti dipendenti della banche HSBCe SwISS bank, a Città del Guatemala e a Buenos Aires presso gli Istituti Italiani di Cultura, in Turchia e a Melbourne.

I began teaching in 2004 at a Waldorf school in southern England. I taught a variety of humanities, including German, English, and French. I have also worked in translations for many years, which has helped me to learn the subtleties of expression in the languages I use. I believe in learning naturally, without studying rules and structure (none of us do this with our first language, after all!). I have always enjoyed seeing progress in others, and facilitating this in an effortless way is something I find very rewarding. I have also taught theatre, as well as worked with disadvantaged young people, focusing on motivation, self-esteem and self-confidence.

I believe that learning a new language is a long journey that leads us to a new version of ourselves. For this reason, it's important to choose who'll be your guide and mentor. I see myself as an empathic guide and a good listener, always committed to helping my students reaching their language goals and overcoming their difficulties. The key of my teaching style is «Learning&Doing – Doing& Learning». When I teach offline, every activity, from the one to one lesson to the workshop, from the board game to the Apulian tour, is based on missions to accomplish. Students learn Italian with Karaoke, role plays (would you like to be Pavarotti for few hours?), Italian recipes, cappuccinos to ask in a cafè, treasure-huntings around the city. When I teach online I try to add fun to my lessons: role-plays, quizzes, customized conversations and songs are my trump cards. Smiling is the main ingredient for effective learning. This is the (not so secret) recipe of my lessons!
