I am in love with languages and I myself have been a language student, so I can say I am close to you! I perfectly master my native language and moreover I have published 4 novels and a lot of articles: so I adore to teach Italian to passionated people or to whom wants to get to know the culture of my country. I have been teaching students from different nationalities on 2 continents, so I know different methods of teaching.

Trovo che sia uno strumento incredibilmente utile e comodo e penso di poter dare il mio contributo a chi sta cercando di migliorare la sua conoscenza dell'italiano.

I graduated from Padua University in Classics in 2013 and started working after few months in a private school in Padua as a teacher for Italian as a second language. After one year I decided to specialize in the field of teaching languages and I had a Masters in Advanced Planning for teaching Italian to foreigners. I also had a second-level DILS-PG certification and I’m a CILS and CELI examiner. I’ve been working as a contract teacher for the University for Foreigners of Perugia for 2 years. I'm currently working for them in Milan at the European Institute of Design, where I prepare Chinese-speaking students for the admission exams for design courses.

I am a patient, understanding and detail-oriented person; I always try to be as clear as possible so that my students can fully understand me. I always try to be positive and engaging: it is very important to put the student at ease if I want to involve him/her in the lesson, make him/her practice and thus make sure that he/she can really learn. Having had translation studies and linguistics at university I know very well how fundamental these aspects are in learning a language, therefore the translation of short sentences and the logical and grammatical analysis will be an important part of this path. Sono un'insegnante che ama il suo lavoro, molto motivata e motivante ed estremamente paziente. La mia esperienza lavorativa è legata ad apprendenti madrelingua cinese. Dal momento che ho insegnato a studenti di età differenti (dai 6 ai 40 anni) e di conseguenza con esigenze differenti, sono profondamente consapevole della necessità di adattare il mio metodo di insegnamento alle diverse situazioni che mi si presentino.

CLASSES All of the classes are made to help the Italian learner to improve his/her Italian skills (reading, listening, speaking, pronunciation and understanding/comprehension). I make each lesson to fit the needs, abilities and the learning level for each person. Each lesson is unique because the needs of each student are unique. With each lesson, the student will learn new words, new expressions/idioms , new phrasal verbs and grammar structures.

Cerco sempre di capire bisogni e interessi dei miei studenti prima di creare un piano di lezioni e dò molta importanza all'uso della lingua, sia parlata che scritta. Sono molto socievole e amo stabilire un rapporto di fiducia con gli studenti. Amo condividere la mia cultura e capire meglio tutte le altre culture. I always try to understand my students's needs and interests before to create a lesson plan and I give a lot of importance to the use of the language, both oral and written. I am very friendly and I love to have a relatonship of trust with my stydents. I love to share my culture and to understand better other cultures.

As a teacher, I like to create a relaxed atmosphere where you can learn by doing. Together we will study both grammar and the most common forms of colloquial language, we will pay particular attention to written forms and pronunciation and we will do so by talking about Italian culture in all its facets: from history to art, from music to cinema, from tourist attractions to food, passing through traditions, myths and legends.

I will be a helpful, empathetic and friendly tutor. I have studied languages myself (English, Japanese and Spanish) and I know it can be exciting and difficult at the same time. For this reason, my classes will be relaxed and fun, so you can learn and challenge yourself without any pressure! Mistakes are welcome: remember that making mistakes is the best way to learn a new language!

As a teacher I'm very open-minded and I love to try new methods of teaching. I read a lot about education and I also experiment on myself when I'm learning a language. Whatever I find to be effective, I'll bring into the class. Of course, I also take into account what you like and what your preference is. Overall, I'm an organized teacher who likes to create a comfortable classroom so that you get the most out of our lessons without feeling scared, intimidated, or overwhelmed.

Ho deciso di diventare un insegnante di italiano, perché penso che molte persone dovrebbero avere un'esperienza come la mia, visitare un paese e rimanere lì per tutto il tempo che vuoi. Per questo motivo voglio aiutare le persone a comunicare bene con i cittadini Italiani, perché in Italia ci sono molti dialetti, ma se sai come parlare bene la lingua, sarai in grado di comunicare con chiunque. Ho esperienza come insegnante d'Italiano, musica e fotografia, con bambini e adolescenti provenienti da quartieri o settori marginali della città.

I started teaching Italian when I wanted to improve my German for work, so when I got paid I used the money to buy new German classes. I found this activity very interesting and fun. It was amazing how many people wanted to learn Italian and learn about Italian culture. Listening to my students improving day after day was really satisfying. I studied a lot of Italian during school, so I know very well what I'm trying to teach you. I know how difficult it can be to learn a new language, and to keep it ''alive”! That's something I'm doing too, so I can help you with all my knowledge.

Through an interactive and dynamic approach, we will immerse ourselves immediately in the Italian language and culture in order to live a complete and engaging learning experience. Before our meeting, I will send you the material with the topic we will discuss during the lesson.
