My goal is to create a friendly environment where you can practice Italian in any possible form. My lessons will be interactive and fun, to maintain your motivation strong and to increase your confidence in the language. You will learn at your own pace, with my help. You choose the difficulty, I will find the words. No worries, no judgment. If you're just starting and you don't know many Italian words, don't worry! In the beginning, we can speak English. In this way, you are going to quickly adapt to the language to then be able to speak only in Italian.

Ho sempre amato la mia lingua, per questo l'ho sempre studiata con amore e passione! Da alcuni anni vivo in Germania: qui insegno italiano come lingua straniera ad adulti, ragazzi e bambini :)

I adopt a communicative approach, without dismissing the importance of focusing on specific aspects of the language. I love to transmit not only the language, but also the cultures of Italy! My travel experience and knowledge of people of all nationalities have greatly helped me in teaching languages because I have developed empathy and listening skills to meet my students’ needs. I graduated in Foreign Languages, I am a CELI examiner, I got a Masters in Teaching Italian to Foreigners and more than 10 years of experience in teaching languages. All of these will guarantee you a mix out of scientific based and practical experienced method of teaching.

My first aim is to make you feel comfortable speaking Italian. As a language learner myself, I know the challenges of overcoming that fear, that's why I will create a space where you don't feel judged and where you can learn by your mistakes.

Ho esperienza pregressa nell'insegnamento dell'italiano a stranieri, nello specifico ho insegnato alla Dante Alighieri a Vienna e alla FormaSpeak a Rouen, in Francia.

I'm afraid I'm not the typical teacher. I feel like I'm more of a friendly face correcting your errors and pushing you to practice and talk. I think a lot can be done alone with books but what makes talking to a native special is that one goes beyond the (often boring) book and is able to interact and have an exchange with the person. I studied languages in school and for a year in university. I know Italian grammar well and I love grammar in general. I translated for years and got to realise how hard it can be to use the language but also how beautiful Italian is. I do not teach children or complete beginners. I don't have the expertise and don't want to ruin the experience for them!

Ik heb geen ervaring met het leren maar ik werk constant met toeristen vd hele wereld en vind het heerlijk om ze te kunnen helpen door hun taal te spreken,ik ben spontaan, vriendelijk en heb veel geduld :) Non ho esperienza diretta con il insegnare ma lavoro costantemente con turisti di tutto il mondo e amo aiutarli nella loro lingua.Sono una persona spontanea, gentile e ho molto pazienza :) I do not have experience with teaching but i work daily with tourists from all the world and i love to help them.I am a spontaneous person,friendly and i have a lot of patience. :)

I am enthusiastic in what I do and love to share little tips here and there that will compliment my students' language learning habits in general, should they be looking for advice. I will find different ways to explain a concept and understand how to energize my lessons through new material. I am very patient and determined to only offer the best to help students reach their goals, whether beginner or advanced. I offer German/English conversation lessons for all levels as well as Italian and Spanish classes for beginner-intermediate levels. Note: While I do like emphasizing conversation, I know that many students will have different preferences and learning styles. Therefore I am flexible!

Sono una persona molto simpatica e allegra e quindi sento di poter essere un tutor che insegna in allegria e con cui si può parlare di tutto dalle cose più banali ai temi più importanti oggi, di famiglia e di sport. I find important teaching Italian in a formal but funny way, as I think the learning path is more pleasant and effective. I really hope to be useful for personal improvement and overcoming fears, such as making linguistic errors, something absolutely normal and useful, if accepted, to have a starting point from which to progress successfully.

If there's one thing that gives me joy is talking about languages, their grammatical peculiarities, the culture they originate from and finding similarities with Italian. The only other thing that comes close is being able to communicate proficiently in a foreign language while learning something new in the process. Listening, repeating, speaking, practicing and writing are all key to the learning path and I'll commit to adjust our sessions to whatever method suits you the most.
