As a passionate Language Teacher and Learner, I worked as a private tutor to teach my foreign friends and cliental Chinese, and at the same time teach my chinese friends German. I am a Person of communicativness and Curiosity , so I often encourage my students to keep practicing from the very beginning, and don't be afraid to make mistakes! And don't worry, it is very important for me as Language teacher to know the needs of my students so that I can do my best to assist you and help you accomplishing your learning successfully, in this sense im looking forward to help you and don't be hesitate to book a lesson and let us have great fun together :)

I started teaching German to international students in 2009 as a private tutor during my university studies. During that time I realized that this is my true passion, because I love to work with people and seeing progress in my students makes me feel proud and truly happy. After graduation I took several courses to become a professional teacher and soon got a job at a reputable high school in Taiwan. Besides teaches classes, I still tutor private students and currently I am on a temporary leave to travel the world, while still tutoring online and funding my dream through italki.

Learning is all about the student, not the teacher. It's an individual, active process of acquiring knowledge and applying it. My role as a teacher is to be a guide and facilitator in this process.

Before we start with the lessons, I will evaluate your current level and your goals with learning the language. I will also find out what kind of exercises and assignments you prefer, as I am well aware, that every student needs a different approach. I am a very patient teacher with a good sense of humor who is convinced, that it´s a lot easier to learn a language while having a good time. During many years of teaching German as a second language I gathered a big pool of different teaching materials and I will find the right stuff to get you on track in a fun and easy way :o)

I am a professional language teacher with a master's degree in Education with the use of new technologies. I have experience in teaching people from all over the world, irrespective of their level, beginner, intermediate or advanced.

Do you want to express yourself better in conversation and sound more authentic in German? I specialize in helping you to improve your speaking and pronunciation of German based on special exercises I design specifically for YOUR native language background (i.e. German for Chinese speakers, German for Spanish speakers, etc). My particular area of expertise is in phonetics and phonology, so I can help you to master the difficult sounds of German so that you feel more confident when you are speaking. However, I can help you with any aspect of your German that you would like to improve, including preparing you to take formal examinations like the DSH, the TestDaF and the Goethe Institut exams.

I'll do what I can to encourage you in your language learning journey. I am patient, open for your feedback and suggestions and will adapt to your interests and your learning goals. Ich habe an der LMU München u.a. das Fach "Deutsch als Fremdsprache" studiert. Während meines Studiums habe ich ein Auslandspraktikum am Goethe Institut in Rio de Janeiro absolviert. Ich habe bereits für zahlreiche Sprachschulen und Firmen in München unterrichtet. Seit 2015 bin ich selbstständige Deutschlehrerin und habe mich auf Business-Deutsch spezialisiert.

Ich habe im Rahmen des Praxissemesters an einem Gymnasium in Baden-Württemberg die Sprachen Englisch und Französisch unterrichtet, gleichzeitig habe ich aber angefangen als Deutsch Lehrerin für Arenalingua zu arbeiten. Nach einem Jahr habe ich dann durch Fokus zusätzlich unterrichtet. Noch ein Jahr später kam dann noch LTC dazu, weshalb ich mich jetzt dazu entschlossen habe, Arenalingua aufzugeben. Ich habe alle Niveaus von A1 bis C2 unterrichtet, sowohl im Gruppen, als auch im Einzelunterricht. Meine Schüler kommen von überallher: Tschechien, Brasilien, Indien, Pakistan, Mexiko, Argentinien... um nur einige zu nennen.

Language learning should be FUN! I want to help you feel RELAXED and not nervous when speaking German. Since I have many italki teachers myself, I know how important it is, to make the student speak. YES - YOU HAVE TO SPEAK! IN GERMAN! And I promise: It's not as hard as you think! Let's neglect the difficult grammar for a while and you will be surprised how soon you will be able to comunicate! Let me give you an example: What if I said: "Have he cat?" instead of "Does he have a cat?" - It's wrong, but totally understandable! -> So if you say "Er haben Katze?" instead of "Hat er eine Katze?" everybody will be able to understand you!

I have been studying languages at a university since 2014 to become a teacher. In the past few years, I have had the opportunity to gain experience in various schools in different countries, furthermore, have spent 2 years in Spain. My classes are very interactive with the focus on the student. In my opinion, online teaching offers an excellent opportunity to improve communication skills, therefore, it gives room for students to practice speaking as much as possible with no fear of committing errors. In addition, at the end of each class students receive a feedback on their learning process.

I am currently learning my third language. I really do understand how hard it can be to learn a new language, let alone to master it. I am a very relaxed teacher, I know from experience that the most effective way of learning is by enjoying the process and having fun! I am also pretty flexible when it comes to teaching, depending on your level, need, interest or simply just that mood of that day.

I also have been teaching german and spanish for more than 5 years. That´s why, I know quite well, what the best strategy is, if you want to learn a new language in a fast and easy way. Although I have a career in biology, I really love teaching languages and I have to say that, it´s something that has taught me a lot in return.

I am open, flexible, approachable and I like to keep the lessons fun and engaging, and to help people talk without the fear of making mistakes. As soon as I hear you speak, I'll try to pinpoint your strengths and weaknesses and come up with the individualized approach that will help you with your specific language-learning goals and needs. I like to always use modern and engaging materials which enhance motivation for learning.

I am very lucky because I love my profession. But passion alone is not enough to be a good teacher. You also need didactic, methodical and pedagogical skills. For this reason I decided to attend the distance learning course "DaF Methodik und Didaktik" at the Goethe Institute in June 2019. I successfully passed the final exam. I am convinced that teachers need to be constantly trained, too. So they are able to offer their students the best teaching performance.

I understand that the students have little time and I believe in small portions on a regular basis. It will be more helpful to speak 2 times a week for 30 minutes than, 1 time for 60. I want you to get where you want to be with the German language. For this, it would be helpful to know your goals. I will give you my ideas and introduce you to what helped me acquire fluency in 5 languages. However, it is all up to you, and the most important is that you are enjoying the classes.
