It is always a pleasure helping others learn French and to see them progress in their fluency. I consider that every student is different. I adapt and customize the lesson to your needs, personal expectations and current French language ability. We will be keeping track of your progress, using a shared document, where you can write or review between lessons.

I developed a passion for learning foreign languages. I have been studying Polish and Ukrainian diligently for the past year and before that, I was learning German, Russian and even some Estonian! I have completed most of the online language learning apps and programs, have read many language learning books, have had many language exchanges and even private lessons. 

I know what it’s like to learn a new language and to look for the best teachers/resources! Through all of this, I have gained a lot of experience in language learning and teaching.

I completely understand what it means to learn a new language from scratch, or the importance of continuous learning and practice to maintain and improve your level. As your teacher, I want you to not be afraid of making mistakes, there is no room for words such as “it’s impossible” or “I can’t.” Because your passion to learn can open all the possibilities.

If you want to learn with me, there are many options: - Just a natural conversation with few lessons. - We can choose one topic and we will debate together - We will be able to work with lessons on a specific grammar point, or on a presentation, or on a specific topic. - We can work also on a specific skill (comprehension, expression, pronunciation…)

I am a conversational, relaxed teacher who believes the best way to learn is to ensure that the student is enjoying the lesson. As a result, I like to use resources that the student enjoys, whether it be films, books or TV shows. Approaching these resources together and employing the right methodology of storing and memorising words and phrases is, in my opinion, the most effective and natural method of approaching language and is the reason I have been able to reach at least conversational levels in 4 languages.

En apprenant le portugais en moins de 6 mois, je sais quelles peuvent être les difficultés rencontrées lors de l'apprentissage d'une langue. I have been tutoring French for more than 4 years in secondary schools in Cameroon. I helped many native speakers of English and during the last couples of years. I have taught French to children, teenagers and adults. I am currently working as a High School Teacher in Accra - Ghana where I live now. I like to experiment with new techniques and I always try to improve myself. I am looking for enthusiastic and dedicated students who wish to be comfortable with the language.

My experience as a fitness Coach & instructor and I also previously used to run my own transport company helped me develop my communication and my passion for breaking down information in bite-size pieces for the benefits of others. I like to keep it friendly and fun, I found it an optimal way for the teacher and student to learn and grow. Mistakes or “errors” doesn’t exist, only stepping stones to grow.
