<Covering All Levels> I used to teach Korean and English to international exchange students when I was in university. I mainly taught them how to write 한글 ( Korean writing) and how to speak properly in various situations through videos, Korean songs, and some text books and study materials provided. Most of them were beginner's level and they could have improved their Korean skill so quickly. However, I also taught advanced level students and a student studying for TOPIK test. Hence, I can basically cover all levels. In addition, when I was in the US, I used to teach Korean to Korean American kids who were born and raised in the US.

I’m a native English speaker. I acquired a TEFL/TESOL in 2014 and now teach students of all ages how to speak British English from beginner to advanced. I was born and raised in England and am extremely passionate about teaching foreign languages. PLEASE NOTE: - I include a 5 minute break in my 60 minute classes. - I don't teach children. - I don't teach Business English. POLICY: - Classes that are not rescheduled or cancelled within 24 hours will be charged. - If you're more than 15 minutes late to class, I will consider you absent. I have a relaxed and friendly attitude and experience teaching people of all levels. I was a teacher at an academy in Spain where students were studying for the Cambridge exams so I'm familiar with these and helped students achieve success in them. I've also taught IELTS and employees in companies, as well as offering conversational classes.

Prior to becoming a Film Editor, I worked as an English teacher in Guatemala City where I acquired an English Teacher Certificate at IGA (Instituto-Guatemalteco- Americano) While working as a teacher; I had the opportunity to work with different types of people; I taught children, teenagers, and adults. My goal now is to combine my range of experience with my ability to be a compassionate, enthusiastic, intelligent teacher who will make a positive contribution to every student.

I developed a passion for learning foreign languages. I have been studying Polish and Ukrainian diligently for the past year and before that, I was learning German, Russian and even some Estonian! I have completed most of the online language learning apps and programs, have read many language learning books, have had many language exchanges and even private lessons. 

I know what it’s like to learn a new language and to look for the best teachers/resources! Through all of this, I have gained a lot of experience in language learning and teaching.

My teaching experience includes some corporate training as well as teaching Tae Kwon Do in a group setting to young and old students. I am a teacher with long patience. I always understand the status of my student, especially the beginner. I understand that they feel fear and pressure. I am an EFL teacher since 1998. I taught EFL at a French primary school in Romania and was the head of foreign languages department at a school in Turkey where I coordinated the Oxford Placement Tests and Cambridge YLE, KET, PET, FCE exams. I taught Turkish in the Turkish Embassy in Bucharest. I am experienced in English Acquisition, the British National Curriculum at primary level, IBMYP I&S, IBMYP History and IGCSE/AS/A Level History for Years 11 & 12. In China, I was Head of English Acquisition and an IB English teacher. I am CELTA certified and have a qualification from Lancaster Uni to teach dyslexic students. I have been working in Uganda at an international school for two years.

I've always believed that teaching should be a part of my career because I love it and I believe in its value. Bringing the juice of my experience in learning and languages and using them as a powerful tool in real-life situations to negotiate, persuade, communicate and solve problems. I'm constantly following new methods and tools for learning and teaching languages. I'm a motivated, creative and knowledgeable teacher and my students always find my courses and discussions engaging and deep. I'm a young teacher who can relate to the challenges which can face people in my generation to learn and speak a language, I can put my self in their shoes and help them.

I have extensive experience of teaching in classroom and other formal settings but my preferred method is through personal tuition. I have been teaching a variety of subjects over the course of my professional life but languages have always played a major role. Most of my students are of an intermediate - advanced level, but this is not a requirement. I have previous experience working as a teaching assistant at a school in the UK.
