I love learning so you have a great opportunity to teach me. In English of course! :) I’m not perfect and I make mistakes in English everyday. I’m kind, friendly, intuitive and encouraging. I love seeing my students gain confidence. It’s very rewarding. I’m proud that I have taught and that I still teach people from many different backgrounds such as educational Professors in Italy, Psychologists and Insurance brokers in France, Construction Managers in Russia, Wedding Planners in Switzerland, Staff recruiters in The Czech Republic, Mechanical Engineering Teachers in Germany, Factory Managers in Spain and Missionaries from Brazil who live in South Africa.

I started to teach 5 years ago in Spain and it was a total coincidence and since then I love it. After 3 years of teaching in Spain I decided to go to Australia, where I did my CAE certificate and I obtained TESOL and TECSOL certificate for English teachers. I worked with students all ages from 5 months to 66 years old, all different levels ( beginners to advance). I worked as a teacher in Spain, Australia and China. I really enjoy teaching and I don´t want to do anything else in my life. I always have an amazing connection with my students. It is important to create an excellent atmosphere in my classroom.

I have a bachelors degree in medicine and also have a TEFL certificate which qualifies me to teach English online. I have a passion for teaching and I treat my students with utmost respect. I am TEFL Certified in English and would love to teach you! I like talking about contemporary events and enjoy speaking about, art, history, music and different cultures. If you are interested in traveling, I am the right teacher for you because I have traveled through most of South America, Europe, and the Middle East. I can point you towards multiple resources for your travels and tools that you can use in work, for I have also worked in Marketing and studied my first BA in Business Management in Berlin. It's been a while since I've started teaching. Since May 2021 it's been 6 years that I'm a teacher and although my young age, I already have a lot of experience. The learning is always the priority, so I make sure that my lessons are set up with this in mind..For me, it´s important that the lessons are fun and engaging, as I think this helps people to learn more naturally. What is conversation? Conversation is many things. Chatting with a friend in a coffee shop is conversation, but so is giving your boss a project update. Giving an informal talk to a group of fellow students or a service club is conversation, but so is giving a formal presentation (even if you do not take questions afterwards). I believe that the most important thing about conversation is communicating clearly. The best way to improve your communication is practice and that's what I am here for.

I have tutored for two years at the College of Charleston in German, French and Portuguese, as well as taught the beginning conversation courses for Portuguese students. During these positions, I worked a lot with textbooks and lesson plans, but I normally will adapt the students wants and needs to make sure they feel at ease and comfortable in order to learn the best they possibly can. I am a language student myself and used to be painfully shy when speaking a foreign language. I didn't let that stop me though! I figured out that the hardest part of speaking any foreign language is starting. The fear of failure can be terrifying but finding a teacher that you feel comfortable speaking to can make all the difference. In my classes, mistakes are encouraged as they are what we learn from. We all make mistakes but languages are a tool for communication with others most importantly and I believe that comfort - not perfection- is key. As a teacher I'm am constantly trying to find better ways to help my students, including recently finishing my TEFL certification.
