I'm a very fun, loving and accommodating teacher. I aim to understand and engage with every student according to their level and personality. I understand that every student is different, and therefore not every student should be taught the same way and that is the beauty of teaching. I moved to South Korea over a year ago and started teaching English to students of all ages. I have tutored and taught in academies while I've been here. It's always exciting to meet new students, as they all have different personalities. I have spent many hours assisting medical students in preparation for their USMLE Step 2 exam. This includes acting as the patient role, developing scripts, and empathy advice for a more natural conversation.

Since I was a little girl, I have been dreaming to become a teacher – dreams come true :) I appreciate the privilege to be the reason for good changes in someone's life. I love meeting dedicated and motivated people who are excited about my native language and culture – I am just happy to be their devoted guide in the language world. A special joy is to be a teacher for kids. I am delighted to see how they rejoice in their victories in learning, how enthusiastic about everything new they are.

I have over seven years of experience teaching English. I teach a variety of lessons such as one-on-one conversation lessons, IELTS test preparation, and interview preparation. Some of my favorite subjects to talk about are art, design, culture, movies, food, and computer programming.

Languages are my favorite hobby. I study them everyday, and can relate the struggle to improve your skills. My whole life has been about learning languages. From a young age a grew up in a home speaking both English and Spanish. I taught myself Korean and Japanese at 13 years old! Later, in school I also studied Portuguese, French, and Italian! I have worked with various methods of language learning as a student and as a teacher. I do not believe students should be memorizing long lists of vocabulary or giving boring, repetitive and useless tasks because that has never worked for me. All of these experiences learning different languages, along with my education, has given me the chance to understand language in a very unique way and deliver effective classes that work for all students.

I’ve been teaching Farsi, English and Spanish since 2009. After teaching different students and trying various methods, I have come to believe everyone learns through their own unique way. Therefore, I would love to take the time to understand how my students learn and to use that knowledge to expedite their improvement. Since 2019, I have been working on language learning websites where I teach people from all over the world Vietnamese and English. I have a lot of experience as a music teacher, but I am only now starting to teach English. I believe my experience teaching music will give me unique insights into the process of learning a language, because music is a lot like a language.
